ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The Salvation Army of Winnebago County added two new members to its advisory board recently. Attorney Pat Agnew of Agnew Law office, specializing in estate planning, and Dennis Canada, division manager of Schnucks for northern Illinois/southern Wisconsin are the new advisory board members.
Attorney Agnew has served on many local boards, including Milestone and Discovery Center Museum. Mr. Canada recently moved to Rockford from St. Louis. The Salvation Army's motivation is spiritual and its goal is to minister to the whole person - body and spirit. Major Randy Hellstrom, Winnebago County Coordinator of The Salvation Army, states that, “Community leaders are invaluable to promoting the mission of The Salvation Army and making recommendations that are consistent with the mission will support the ministry here in the Rockford area.”
