UPDATE: A 13-year-old girl from Janesville was hit in the middle of a cross walk around 8:00 this morning.
Police tell us a bus was stopped in one of the lanes, when a car tried to pass the bus and ended up striking her. We're told she suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
JANESVILLE (WIFR) – A Janesville teenager has been injured after being hit by a car Wednesday morning.
The incident happened right before 8 a.m. on the 400 block of North Crosby. Police say a bus was stopped on the road in one lane of traffic while a car in the other lane continued to drive. That’s when the 13 year old girl was struck in the crosswalk.
The driver will most likely be ticketed. The extent of the girl’s injuries are not known at this time.
