ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A deported man from Mexico is now headed to federal prison.
Celestino Alvarez-Montejano was sentenced in Rockford Thursday to nine years for re-entering the U.S. illegally and being involved in a major drug operation.
Authorities say he lived in Cincinnati but used a house in Loves Park to stash a massive amount of marijuana and cocaine.
Two local guys and another man from Mexico are tied to this case. They've already been sentenced.
