ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Students at Montessori Private Academy spent the day learning about our veterans and even helping out some active duty members of the military.

Veterans from World War II to the war in Afghanistan talked with students about their experiences both in war and when they came home. They even took some time to answer questions. Then the kids started assembling care packages to send to troops overseas. Students, staff members, and their families donated everything inside those care packages.
