UPDATE: Day two of Old Settlers Days is underway in Rockton and Friday night kicks off a huge country weekend.

23 News Reporter Lauren Kravets caught up with Friday night's headliner Lee Brice.

ROCKTON (WIFR) -- Old Settlers Days got off to a soggy start.

Storms Thursday night canceled the Bret Michaels concert, but many were still able to meet the ex-Poison lead singer.

Michaels says the bad weather was a huge disappointment and he plans on coming back next year.

"You can't beat mother nature and that's the truth and here's the bottom line. We hung out, as long as, we can hang... Listen the fans here have been fantastic and unbelievably great unfortunately the weather hasn't cooperated," Michaels said.

Festival organizers if you paid cash at the gate, hold on to your red wristband and check the Old Settlers Days website (http://www.oldsettlersdays.com/) Friday.

The festival runs through Sunday.
