STERLING (WIFR) -- The Kmart in Sterling is going out of business. Sears Director of Communications Howard Riefs tells us the store will start its liquidation sale on October 27, 2013, and the store plans to close by mid-January.
The move is part of the company's effort to reduce expenses. There are 58 employees at the store and all will be able to apply for positions at other locations.
