UPDATE: ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- We first showed you Tina Jacobs’ incredible body transformation back the Spring of 2014 - losing more than 300 pounds after reaching her breaking point of how she saw herself in the mirror every day. Today, the inspiring 37 year old mother shared her story on national television.

Jacobs was invited onto the Dr. Oz show courtesty of Sharecare Incorporated. Jacobs says she helps people lose weight by using a body imprint diet that shows portion control based on a person's own unique body. She's now working for complete nutrition to help others but relished the opportunity to spread her message to a bigger audience.

"I wanted to go into the homes and reach the people that normally don't get out and are the most broken and feel the most helpless. That way they could have hope and start living too,” Jacobs said. “So, for me, if they were to initiate that, it would be incredible. It would be so rewarding for them."

Jacobs now works as a success coach for Complete Nutrition at Peak Fitness on North Perryville Rd. She says she's helped at least five clients lose more than 100 pounds.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A local woman decided to change her life, dropping more than 300 pounds over the last three years.

“Looking back when we started this journey and being so over weight, I never had the hope to think that I would be fit.”

Coming up tonight at 10, in our Stateline Spotlight, we’ll introduce you to Tina Jacobs. At more than 500 pounds she decided to revamp her life. She’s now motivating others as they begin their weight loss journey.
