ROCK COUNTY (WIFR) -- Sheriff Spoden has partnered with HealthNet of Rock County, Inc., a non-profit organization, to reduce the waste of unused, expired medications from the Rock County Jail. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office will donate specific, unused medications which can be repackaged and prescribed by HealthNet Physicians for use by the uninsured and low-income residents of Rock County. The medications will be inspected and dispensed as needed to patients and will be disposed of appropriately if they are not viable.
Sheriff Spoden and the entire staff of the Rock County Sheriff’s Office are constantly working to protect and better the community they serve. This new partnership will allow Sheriff Spoden to expand his commitment to the communities’ well being.
