Second Rockford Burger King Robbed Since Friday

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- For the second time in a less than 24-hour period, a Rockford Burger King restaurant is robbed.

The latest incident happened at the BK in the 2400 block of 11th St. Police say just after 9:30 p.m. last night, a man walked into the restaurant armed with a handgun, demanded cash and took off.
He's described as a black man in his teens. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans, with a mask covering his face.

The first Burger King robbery happened early Friday morning in the 7500 block of East State St. Police are still looking for two black male suspects in that robbery. Authorities say it's too soon to tell if the two robberies are related.
