Scientists Develop Smartphone Game to Help with Breast Cancer Research

UNITED KINGDOM (WIFR) -- Scientists have developed a new smart phone game that decodes genetic material for breast cancer research.

The game is designed so players act like scientists looking for rogue cells in a lab. Players go through an asteroid field that, in reality, is tumor samples from more than 2,000 breast cancer patients. The game is called “Play to Cure: Genes in Space”.

It’s available in both the Apple and Google Play stores.
