ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- School may be out for the summer but school improvements are in full force in District 205.
As you can see construction workers have been quite busy at Spring Creek Elementary School. It's part of the Rockford School District's $139 million dollar bond referendum for school upgrades.
Froberg, McIntosh and Spring Creek are part of the first phase of school improvements. For Spring Creek pavement work should be complete by the start of the school year. While a cafeteria and full kitchen addition, as well as, a new boiler room and new front entry should be good to go by December.
