STATELINE (WIFR) -- Schnucks’ Grocery Stores could be facing a class action lawsuit.
The chain, which owns the local Hilander stores revealed in March that as many as 2.4 million customer’s debit and credit card numbers may have been compromised last year. Many customers have reported fraudulent charges, some in the thousands of dollars.
Now a southern Illinois man is suing because he says the problem wasn’t made public quickly enough. A Schnucks spokeswoman say they will fight the claims.
