Salvation Army Band Plays for Local Patients on Easter

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The sounds of the Salvation Army Band filled the halls of one local hospital this Easter.

It's an Easter tradition that members of the Salvation Army Brass Band play for the patients and staff at SwedishAmerican hospital. Tthis year, about 30 musicians traveled the halls to visit with patients and cheer them with some lively music. Band members say it’s a gift to be able to bring some joy to those who are stuck in the hospital on this holiday. .
