Rockford Woman Sentenced for Stealing from Labor Union

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The U.S. Attorney's Office announces a Rockford woman will spend 17 months in federal prison for stealing from a local labor union.

Grace Rathke, 57, admitted to taking $190,000 from Labor's International Local 32. She was an office manager for the union and says she took the money from members' dues over a 5 year period. Once she's released from prison, she'll have to serve 3 years parole.
