Rockford School Board members are putting in a little extra overtime.
The group met inside a room at Swedish American Hospital Saturday, to discuss ways to improve District 205. That could include changes to some of the technology teachers use. The board also focused on middle school students, saying they want to make sure kids have the necessary skills to perform well in high school.
"We want to make sure that every student that leaves us is ready for a career, ready for college, ready for life. That’s the goal," said Dr. Robert Willis.
It'll be up to a new school board to tackle these ideas. Members will be elected next month.
