ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The Rockford Rescue Mission is asking for donations to restock its inventory of toilet paper used by the many guests and residents of the Mission. On average, Rockford Rescue Mission goes through over 1,000 rolls of toilet tissue per month, and the current supply is running desperately low.
Individuals, church congregations, companies and other organized groups are encouraged to lend support to this cause by collecting and donating dozens of rolls to the homeless, hungry and hurting people the Mission serves throughout the Rock River Valley. Last spring, over 9,000 rolls were graciously donated to the Mission. A goal of 10,000 rolls has been set for this year.
Donations of toilet paper may be brought to 715 West State Street. For more information, call 815-965-5332.
