Rockford Police Release Results of Holiday Crackdown on Impaired Drivers

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- From December 20, 2013 to January 5, 2014, the Rockford Police Department joined other law enforcement agencies throughout Illinois during the holiday season on cracking down on impaired drivers.

Between these dates, Rockford Police officers arrested 11 impaired drivers thus removing these dangerous drivers from our roadways.

This recent law enforcement crackdown was funded by federal traffic safety funds through the Illinois Department of Transportation and is part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and Click It or Ticket campaigns.
