Rockford Police Arrest Ogle Co. Shooting Suspect

OGLE COUNTY (WIFR) -- Rockford Police and the Ogle County Sheriff's department work together to catch the man suspected of shooting someone in the shoulder overnight.

Ogle County Sheriff Michael Harn says the shooting happened around 12:30 this morning, at a house on North Hoisington Road, Northwest of Byron. Officers say two people got into a fight during a party, and one of the men pulled a gun and shot the other in the shoulder. A short time later, Rockford Police arrested the suspect and another person near Alpine and Harrison. Both are in the Winnebago County Jail. The victim is in serious condition.
