ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Rockford's Mayor, Larry Morrissey has announced he'll seek a third term in office.
He's kicking off his campaign tonight at the Prairie Street Brewhouse. Tonight he is talking with voters and asking supporters to help distribute petitions. He'll need about 3,000 signatures to get on the ballot in April. So far, his only competitor is Democrat Jim Hughes.
