Rockford Man Sentenced for Wire Fraud

ROCKFORD (WIFR) – A Rockford man has been sentenced to 17 months in Federal Prison for wire fraud. 25-year-old William Dorn also ordered to pay over $140,000. Dorn admitted that between March 2011 and January 2012 he used fake checks and ID’s to buy items from stores like Wal-Mart and Farm and Fleet. He then returned those items for cash at different locations. Three other men involved have already been sentenced to prison.
