ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The man who robbed a Family Dollar in 2011 before running from police, will spend more than two decades in prison.
Kelvin Money, 28, was sentenced to 24 years for robbing the store on 11th Street in Rockford.
Police tried to track him down after the crime, however, he drove away and then got out of the car and ran. Money ended up admitting to the robbery and he'll spend three years on probation once he's released.
