ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The man convicted of concealing the death of a Rockford landlord is being released from jail.
Rafael Lopez-Cardona was sentenced to six months but he has already been there longer than that, so he's getting out. This case stems from the January death of Francisco Hernandez. His body was found in an abandoned barn in Ogle County. Police think Miguel Garcia killed him. They've been looking for Garcia ever since.
