LOVES PARK (WIFR) -- A Rockford man is facing several charges after police say he's been stealing gas from several Loves Park stations.

31-year-old Kyle Parker is being charged with theft, among other violations. Police say Parker is believed to have been filling his vehicle and gas cans inside his car before leaving without paying.

Officers are tying Parker to thefts at the Philipp's 66 on Perryville, the Super Pantry on North Second Street, and the Road Ranger on Riverside as well as the Mobil on Riverside. Police say he may have stolen over $100 worth of gas in each incident. Police suspect that Parker stole the gas and turned it into profit by selling it to someone else.
