ROCKFORD - Gas prices have risen in the Rockford area to almost 20 cents per gallon this week, averaging at $3.70 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy although prices in Rockford are higher now, they are still 17.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago and 2.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
