ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Firefighters are trying to figure out what sparked an apartment fire Friday evening in Rockford.
Firefighters were called to 2907 LaSalle Ave. a little after 5:30 p.m. When they arrived smoke was coming out of the three story building. Firefighters tell us the blaze was brought under control just before 6:00 p.m. The fire caused around $20,000 in damages. No on was hurt.
