ROCK FALLS (AP) -- A Rock Falls Business Owner has been killed in a snowmobile accident that happened in northern Wisconsin.

According to Wisconsin authorities, 46-year-old Timothy W. Litwiller of Milledgeville was killed Saturday after his snowmobile left a trail and struck several trees near the town of Mercer.

The Iron County Sheriff Office says the accident is being investigated by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, but they believe alcohol and speed are contributing factors in Litwiller's death.

Litwiller owned Industrial Coating in Rock Falls. He was also a member of the Milledgeville Men's Club and the Elkhorn Creek Runners snowmobile club.

He is survived by his wife and two children.
