ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A Rockford tanning salon was robbed Friday night.
Just after 8:00 p.m. police were called to the Equator Tan, 6551 E. Riverside, for a robbery. A female employee says a man wearing a ski mask walked into the salon, implied he had a handgun and demanded money.
The employee gave him cash from the register and the suspect ran away on foot. No one was hurt in the robbery.
