ROCKFORD (WIFR) – One company is leaving Chicago and making Rockford its new home.
Two plastic recycling businesses will start up next month. The Chinese Companies GNC and JNC will create about 50 new jobs by next year. They’ll move into part of a plant in the 2000 block of Harrison Avenue. This is GNC’s first US location.
JNC is relocating from Chicago. The companies say they chose Rockford because they would be close to I-90 and I-39 and it would cost less here than Chicago.
