ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- In response to strong demand, Misery Loves Company collectable t-shirts are now on sale at seven area locations featuring the first of several design concepts. Outlets listed below.
Misery t-shirts were created as a part of the Misery Loves Company marketing campaign launched last week by the Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. The campaign takes issue with recent
rankings of Rockford as a “miserable city” and addresses it head on by using video and imagery to showcase the area.
“We’ve had an overwhelmingly positive response,” said RACVB CEO John Groh. “Our phones rang and emails poured in; folks wanted to know where they could buy the shirt. “These must-have collectible t-shirts give locals and visitors a way to say Forbes Schmorbes and express their Rockford pride. We want folks to be in on the action and look good while telling others how much they love the Rockford region. You could say that Misery Never Looked so Stylish.”
