ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A group of local middle school students kicked off an annual tradition today.

Student council members from Saint James School in Rockford delivered a pick up truck full of supplies to the Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary. Students have been collecting food, kitty litter and toys to donate to the organization. This is the second year the school has held the Puppy Love Drive. Students say they plan to keep the tradition alive next year.
