UPDATE: Walsh to Act As Own Attorney

UPDATE: ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- We’ve just learned Kody Walsh will be representing himself in court. Today a judge granted a motion to let him act as his own attorney. Walsh is accused of shooting Lori Daniels on I-90 last fall and then leading police on a weeklong manhunt. His final pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for October 17.


ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Kody Walsh is one step closer to trial.

The prosecution and defense are still trying to decide what evidence should be used in front of a jury. Walsh sparked a week long manhunt that ended in Tennessee after allegedly murdering Lori Daniels on I-90.

According to online court records, his final pretrial hearing has been set for October 17th.
