ROCKFORD (WIFR)--Police are investigating a threat at Rock Valley College after spokespeople say a student attending a GED class got into a minor argument with another student.

Investigators say a man then left the facility and threatened to return with guns. He did not come back to the campus.

The building was locked down for a short period of time but has since re-opened. Winnebago County and Rockford Police officers are searching for the suspect.
