Police Find Gun Shot Victim After Possible Drug Deal Went Wrong

ROCKFORD (WIFR)-- Police found a man who was shot in the arm and leg just after 1 am Friday Morning.

Police officers were patrolling in Rockford, when they heard shots fired.

While in route to 5th Avenue and 7Street, where they heard the shots, police found Jarian Caldwell-Flint walking away from his car with gun shot wounds to his elbow and thigh.

Police believe 33 year old, Caldwell-Flint was shot after a drug deal went bad. Caldwell-Flint's injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

Caldwell-Flint was charged with intent to deliver cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church and possession of cannabis.

No other information on the possible shooter has been given.
