Patch Products Heading to the American International Toy Fair

BELOIT (WIFR) -- A local toy manufacturer is getting a chance to showcase its latest products in front of thousands.

Patch Products is heading to the American International Toy Fair in New York City this weekend. This year they're launching nearly forty new products, including a new line of toys for preschoolers. One is the electronic "My-Pad". They're also making a true Stateline staple- the Sock Monkey. Employees tell us a good showing at such a major event means big business.

Patch Products Director of Marketing, Lisa Wuenneman, says, "New items shown at Toy Fair will result in more Christmas sales this fall, but, also, by launching a pre-school toy line and a doll line, [it] will also help diversify the company and make it even more healthy than it was before."

The toy fair runs this Sunday through Wednesday. It’s widely considered to be one of the toy industry's largest events.
