BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- PNC Bank has filed a suit against three of it's former Stateline employees who switched to Fifth Third Bank last month.
The federal suit against Kristie Curtiss, Maria Poston and Christopher Stoecklin was filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court.
According to the suit they left a PNC branch in Belvidere on April 4 and immediately joined a Rockford Fifth Third branch.
PNC accuses the trio of soliciting former PNC customers to switch banks.
The suit claims that by the end of April 36 customers had shifted 57 accounts totaling more than $8 million. Fifth Third Bank and Fifth Third Securities have also been named as defendants.
