CHICAGO (WIFR) -- The Illinois Department of Public Health says there's one probable case of meningitis in Illinois that's associated with the massive nationwide outbreak.
Health officials say a Chicago resident received a steroid injection from the recalled batch. However this type of fungal meningitis is not contagious.
The only health provider in Illinois that received the recalled product from the New England Compounding Centers is APAC Centers for Pain Management.
