UPDATE: Autopsy Complete on Motorcycle Crash Victim

UPDATE: The Winnebago County Coroner's Office says an autopsy was completed today on Dennis Graham showing a preliminary cause of death to be: Blunt trauma of the abdominal region, pelvis, and right leg due to a motorcycle crash.

Toxicology tests will be available in approximately two weeks.

Graham's death is under investigation by the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department.



UPDATE: We now know the name of a man killed in a motorcycle crash near Rockton.

The Winnebago County Coroner's Office says Dennis Graham, 51, crashed his bike on Highway 75 near Rockton Avenue around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department says Graham crossed over the center line, smashing head on into a car. He was thrown from his bike and was not wearing a helmet. Graham died at the scene.

An autopsy on Graham is pending by the Winnebago County Coroner's Office. Toxicology tests will be available in approximately two weeks.



ROCKTON (WIFR) – A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a car in Rockton.

According to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department, a motorcyclist crossed the center line and hit a car head-on near Highway 75 and Rockton Avenue around 3:00 this afternoon.

He was thrown from his bike and we’re told he was not wearing a helmet. Highway 75 is expected to be closed off for at least another hour.
