Ogle County State's Attorney Announces Guilty Pleas

OGLE COUNTY (WIFR) -- The Ogle County State's Attorney announced the guilty pleas of four men for various crimes.

40-year-old Derek Wassilak of Rockford, pled guilty to the offense of Burglary, a Class 2 Felony, in two separate Ogle County cases and was sentenced to a concurrent term of 6 Years and 6 Months in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Wassilak was also ordered to pay $1,622.63 in restitution and court costs.
 
Benjamin Hill, age 24, of Rockford, pled guilty to a pending Petition to Revoke for the offense of Unlawful Possession of a Converted Motor Vehicle, a Class 2 Felony, and was sentenced to 5 Years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
 
Johnathon Parker, age 29, of Mt. Morris, pled guilty to the offense of Forgery, a Class 3 Felony, and was sentenced to 3 Years and 9 Months in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Parker was also ordered to pay $321.49 in restitution and court costs.

28-year-old Thomas Price of Sterling, pled guilty to the offense of Theft, a Class 4 Felony, and was sentenced to 4 Years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Price was also ordered to pay court costs.
