ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- If you were driving down East State Street Friday afternoon in Rockford, you probably were wondering why these guys were dressed up like prison inmates
Occupy Rockford members were rallying against the National Defense Authorization Act. They fear the law could turn the United States into a police state, since it allows the armed forces to have police power and let's American citizens be detained without a trial for some crimes. Friday's protest was part of a national day of action, against the act.

Anyone who protests the national defense authorization act is no idiot. Everyone should educate themselves because it's completely unconstitutional and very easily could be abused by our government.
