New Program Offering Free or Discounted Passes to Venues Around the City

ROCKFORD (WIFR) – A new program called Passage to Adventure is kicking off this week at Rockford Public Library. The Rockford Public Library has formed a partnership with local community organizations to offer patrons exclusive deals and offers at participating Rockford area destinations. Each week, community partners will supply offers for reduced admission, two for one ticket discounts or free passes to different venues and business around the city.

In order to take advantage of these offers, patrons must have a current Rockford Public Library card and their account must be in good standing. If someone does not have a Rockford Public Library card and need to get one, they can come into any of our 6 locations and fill out an application in person.

We’re invited to check out the library’s website; look for the Passage to Adventure logo, find your offer, then come into any Rockford Library locations and secure your tickets. The offers are strictly first come first serve and when the tickets/offer for that offer is gone, they are gone. There are a limited number of passes from each participating partner available at each Library location.

Community partners include Anderson Gardens, Just Goods A Fair Trade Marketplace, Kantorei; The Singing Boys of Rockford, Kate’s Pie Shop, Klehm Arboretum, Midway Village Museum, The Discovery Center, The Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center, The Rockford Aviators, The Rockford Park District, and The Rockford Symphony.
