NIU Worker on Administrative Leave for Water Testing Controversy

DEKALB (WIFR) -- A worker at Northern Illinois University is in hot water and it's because of water.

The Daily Chronicle reports the man in charge of testing the campus water supply didn't test for certain contaminants from October 2011 to September 2013.

University leaders found out that several state standards were violated.The worker has been placed on paid administrative leave while the school has hired a new sample collector.
