ROCKTON (WIFR) -- The Rockton Lions have announced the musical acts for Old Settlers Days (OSD) at their annual Kick Off Party. OSD will be held June 6-9 at Settlers Park on Hawick Street, behind First National Bank - Macktown in Rockton. The musical acts are Chris Cagle, Uncle Kracker, Billy Currington, and Kip Moore from Thursday through Sunday respectively. OSD is known in the area as a great family festival including quality musical acts, parade, fair grounds, with great rides, food, and fireworks. Proceeds are distributed back into the area by the Rockton Lions Club.
Tickets will be on sale at www.OldSettlersDays.com. Prices are as follows:
4 Day Admission Passes (required with concert tickets) -- $6 advance/$10 beginning June 6
Thursday, Chris Cagle -- $15 advance/$20 beginning June 6
Friday, Uncle Kracker -- $15 advance/$20 beginning June 6
Saturday, Billy Currington -- $20 advance/$25 beginning June 6
Sunday Kip Moore -- $20 advance/$25 beginning June 6
Concert Ticket Special (1 ticket to each concert and 1 ticket admission pass) -- $60 through April 30
Children 12 and under do not need a 4 day admission pass, however, all ages will need a concert ticket.
Those interested in the event are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance online. Those who "LIKE" Old Settler's Days on Facebook or follow @OldSettlersDays on Twitter, may also take advantage of special opportunities and contests.
An estimated 15,000 people attend OSD each year. The Rockton Lions ensure the maximum amount raised can go back to the community by using volunteers exclusively to work the festival. There are no paid workers.
