Update: Murder Suspect in the Winnebago County Jail

UPDATE: ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Winnebago County Sheriff Dick Meyers says double murder suspect Terence Doddy has been booked in the Winnebago County Jail and is in Rockford.

Doddy waived his rights to extradition in a Rock County, Wisconsin, court hearing today. Four hours later Doddy was back in Rockford and will be facing three counts of first degree murder in the case involving the murder of Doddy's former best friend Todd Hansmeier.

Doddy is also the only suspect in the murder of Tonya Bargman, a woman allegedly killed at a rest stop near Paw Paw.

We'll continue to update you on this case and any other case involving Doddy as information becomes available.

ROCK COUNTY (WIFR) -- Double murder suspect Terence Doddy will be on his way back to Winnebago County tonight, according to the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department.

Doddy signed extradition waiver forms in Rock County court agreeing to be taken back to Winnebago County. The Rockford man faces three counts of first-degree murder.

Doddy is accused of killing 37-year-old Todd Hansmeier June 30 inside a Rockford call center. He's also a suspect in the death of 44-year-old Tonya Bargman. Her body was found July 2 at a rest stop off I-39 near Paw Paw.

On July 4, Doddy was taken into custody after a high-speed chase involving several police agencies across the Stateline.
