Monroe Clinic Offers Help With Grief During Holidays

MONROE (WIFR) -- For adults grieving the loss of a loved one, the holidays can be an especially challenging time of year. To help people learn skills to cope with grief during the holiday season, Monroe Clinic hospice is offering “Handling the Holidays” on Saturday, November 10, from 1:30-3:30 pm at the St. Camillus Center, located on 2101 6th Street in Monroe.

The program will help participants:

-identify common holiday concerns
-explore depression as a part of grieving
-develop practical strategies to handle the holiday season
-discuss the role of spiritual comfort during the holidays
-create ways to remember loved ones

Refreshments will be served at this free program. Please register by calling 608-324-1230 or 800-367-8406. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
