Military Dog Visits Belvidere High School

BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- It turns out local police aren't the only ones who at times need the help of some dogs in the field. The U.S. Army works with them as well.

Two soldiers talked to students at Belvidere High School about what it takes to be a military policeman.

These dogs can help soldiers in combat overseas or for security installation at homes.

Service dogs can also help victims with psychological trauma during a law enforcement operation

The two soldiers will visit Harlem High School on Friday.
