Many Households Are Divided As the Bears and Packers Face-Off

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- It's been a tense week leading up to Sunday’s Bears Packers game. It's a rivalry that divides our Stateline and it also divides home across our area. The Bears and Packers duked it out for a playoff spot and the battle landed right in the middle of some family rooms.

The Kluesners may be blood related, but nothing separates their household more than when the Bears and Packers faceoff. The blue and orange overpowers the green and gold under their roof, but that doesn't stop the few Packers fans in the house from cheering on their team. The adults have clearly already picked their teams, but now it's time for the families little ones to pick a side.

"She will not forget this day if we win," Ricky Kluesner, said.

"It's gonna feel good because I got ten against me and I'm gonna be the only one celebrating with this one," Amanda Kluesner, said.

Luckily for the Bears fans the family didn't make any crazy bets this time around, but the Packer fans now have bragging rights until next season.
