ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A man will spend six years in prison for the armed robbery of a Rockford business back in 2012.
25-year-old Kenneth Torrance pled guilty today in a plea bargain. Torrance was originally charged with attempted murder in the shooting outside a gas station on Broadway but that has recently been dropped. He and two other men shot a 34-year-old man in May 2012 in the 2600 block of Broadway. The victim survived his injuries.
