Man Sentenced for Armed Robbery to Rockford Subway

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A man who robbed a Rockford Subway nearly a year ago has been sentenced to 22 years in prison.

On November 2nd, 2012, 52-year-old Douglas Marshall robbed the Subway in the 1300 block of Kishwaukee Street threatening a worker there with a knife before taking money from the register.

A day later, Marshall confessed to the crime after being arrested for another armed robbery. Marshall could have been sentenced anywhere from 6 to 30 years.
