ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A man hit by an SUV on Rockford’s south side has passed away.
The Winnebago County Coroner says Terry Basore died this afternoon in the intensive care unit at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. He was 68 years old.
Basore was being treated for severe head and neck injuries after being hit by a Jeep near the intersection of Alpine and Harrison Monday night.
Police told us earlier this week the woman driving the Jeep won’t be charged, however, they are still investigating the incident.
