BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- On Monday, March 11, 2013, the Belvidere Police Department arrested a man on multiple drug charges.
Jeremy Pesina, 21 years old and known gang member, of Cortland, IL, was charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine) within 1000 feet of a church (class x felony). Pesina remains in the Boone County Jail on a $100,000.00 (10%) bond.
On Monday, March 11, 2013 Belvidere Police narcotic detectives, assisted by ogle county sheriff’s police, took Pesina into custody at the Ogle County Court House, Oregon, Illinois.
The arrest of Pesina concluded a three month investigation by the Belvidere Police. Additional charges and/or arrests are possible.
A class x felony is punishable by six (6) to thirty (30) years in the department of corrections.
